In an unprecedented move, all three major party presidential candidates (Clinton, Obama and McCain) have agreed to take tax reform off the presidential debate table by issuing the following joint proposal:

“We know Americans want simplicity in their tax system, and we are responding. Whichever one of us is elected President in November, Congress will be asked to enact the following Tax Reform Plan, which reduces every American’s tax return to just two lines:
1. How much money did you make last year?
2. Send it in.
